Piotr is the original creator of Apache Iggy. He designed its initial architecture and layered runtime, the binary schema and transport protocol stack, the storage design, the public API surface, and laid the foundations for the connectors runtime and the official client SDKs. A long-time Rust practitioner, he focuses on high-performance, low-latency distributed systems and pragmatic platform engineering.
